It’s safe to say that about every 20-something wishes they would’ve been taught more about money in school. Taxes, investing, saving… I wouldn’t have understood the first thing about any of it if it weren’t for my mom's advice growing up 💰

Dear Mom, 

There’s never a wrong moment to tell you I love you and to tell you that I appreciate you, but I have yet to get the chance to tell you why.

When I was in high school, I loved anything that made me feel like I was an adult - respected and valued. In hindsight, I think this meant I wanted the freedom of choice. Truly, the world was my oyster and I wanted to be the one to decide what to do with it…

Some days it feels like I'm beginning to reach my breaking point. Maybe it’s all this talk about goals and dreams that can be overwhelming. Am I putting pressure on myself to achieve all of my goals as soon as possible? 😣

I am still riding the high from our vision board party! 🤩 It’s encouraged me to think through my daily actions and how I can make the most of every moment. Where we end up at the end of the year is dependent on how we utilize our time today.
